Download Page Branding
When a customer clicks their download link, they see a branded download page hosted by Alva. You can fully customize this page to match your brand.
Accessing branding settings
Section titled “Accessing branding settings”Go to Settings and click the Download Page Branding tab.
- Logo URL — paste a URL to your logo image (PNG, SVG, or JPG recommended).
- Logo size — adjust between 40px and 300px (default: 120px).
Colors
Section titled “Colors”Customize every color on the download page:

Enter colors as hex codes (e.g., #4f46e5). Use the color picker for convenience.
Button rounding
Section titled “Button rounding”Control how rounded the download buttons appear, from 0px (square corners) to 24px (pill-shaped). Default is 6px.
Text customization

Display options
Section titled “Display options”- Show file icons — toggle file type icons next to each file name.
- Show file size — toggle file size display (e.g., “2.4 MB”) next to each file.
- Text alignment — left, center, or right alignment for all text on the page.
What customers see
Section titled “What customers see”The download page shows:
- Your logo (if set).
- The page title and thank you message.
- A list of files with download buttons.
- Download limits — remaining downloads and expiry countdown.
- A “Need help?” link with your contact email.
- Your footer text.
Expiry and limits display
Section titled “Expiry and limits display”Customers can see:
- How many downloads they have remaining (e.g., “3 of 5 downloads used”).
- A countdown timer showing when the link expires.
- A notice if IP restrictions apply.
Error states
Section titled “Error states”If something goes wrong, the customer sees a clear message:
- Expired link — “This download link has expired.”
- Download limit reached — “You’ve reached the maximum number of downloads.”
- Invalid link — “This download link is not valid.”
- Blocked delivery — “This download is not available.”
Each error page includes your contact email so customers can reach out for help.
Free plan branding
Section titled “Free plan branding”On the Free plan, the download page shows a small “Powered by Alva Apps” badge at the bottom. All paid plans remove this badge.
